About EYU

What is EYU?

Exploring Your Universe (EYU) is a science fair started in 2009 and held every year on the first Sunday in November. The goal of EYU is to share science to a broader audience through hands-on learning and inspire the next generation of scientists. Traditionally held in the Court of Sciences at UCLA, it welcomes thousands of visitors from the LA community and has become the largest science outreach event on campus. The event is entirely volunteer-run and organized by a graduate student committee.

This event is made possible by volunteers from student groups, departments, and faculty across all science disciplines. We are very grateful to our sponsors, who help support Exploring Your Universe and allow us to bring this event to our community free of charge.

We hope that you will enjoy our event!
