Visit the Planetarium booth the day of the event for tickets!
Explore UCLA’s telescopes with student guides! Step inside the dome housing the 14inch telescope, discover how the rotating dome works, and take a look through the telescope. The tour also includes a visit to the Clubhouse to see an older, larger telescope that is no longer operational.
About the tours:
- Guided tours last approximately 30 minutes.
- Visitors meet on the 9th floor of the Math Sciences building.
- Viewing through the 14-inch telescope requires climbing a ladder.
Ticketing Information:
- Tours are free, but tickets are required.
- Tickets are available at the Planetarium booth.
- Ticket holders must arrive at the meeting location at least five minutes before their scheduled tour time.
