Planetarium

Visit the Planetarium booth the day of the event for tickets!
The UCLA Division of Astronomy and Astrophysics will offer planetarium shows featuring immersive presentations of the night sky as it would appear without the vibrant lights of Los Angeles. These shows will be led by graduate students who will guide you through a fascinating tour of the stars and celestial objects.

About the Planetarium shows:
  • Shows run about 20 minutes.
  • The UCLA Planetarium is located on the 8th floor of the Math Sciences Building. Posted signage will direct you there.
  • The shows are family-friendly and open to all ages. However, the dome will be dark for the entire program, which very young children may find challenging.
  • The Planetarium is wheelchair accessible. Strollers are not permitted inside.
