  • PhD candidate
  • UCLA Department of Bioengineering

Yifan is a bioengineering PhD student at UCLA. Her research uses computational techniques to study the cell’s epigenome, the collection of different tags on the genome that give it instructions on what to do. In 2023, Yifan was one of the finalists at UCLA’s Grad Slam research and communication competition.
